Measurement equipment supplies which are in operation, out of production or repair, are on sale or for rent; all of them are subjected to verification. The verification is carried out according to DSTU 2708 “Metrology. Measurement equipment supply verification. Arrangement and procedure” and is obligatory for measurement equipment supply which is covered by state metrological supervision. Measurement equipment supplies which are not covered by state metrological supervision are subjected to calibration.

Calibration necessity during measurement equipment supply operating should be defined by its user and can be carried out by metrological enterprise, organization service. Calibration is carried out according to DSTU 2708 “Metrology. Measurement equipment supply calibration. Arrangement and procedure”.

According to the Article 28 of the Law of Ukraine “About metrology and metrological activity” measurement equipment supplies lists which are in operation and are subjected to verification (further − lists) they are compiled by their users (with the exception of physical party which is not entrepreneur) and are given for conformance according to the appropriate territorial body of Derzhspozhyvstandart of Ukraine (refer Measurement equipment supplies lists procedure which are in operation and are subjected to verification)

The lists are directed for conformance with Ukrmetrteststandart with the covering letter. List form is given in Appendix 1. (A4 sizes)

Measurement equipment supply reception-issuing sector accomplishes lists reception for conformance and its returning after adjustment. Lists accomplishing performs the main metrologist of Ukrmetrteststandart.

Lists confirmation is conducted charge-free.

contracts

It is necessary to have a letter of indent with the type of contract for contract drafting on measurement equipment supply verification carrying out. Letter of indent examples are given in Appendix 2.1; 2.2; 2.3).

Ukrmetrteststandart executive director gives to the main metrologist signature authorization for contracts between entrepreneurs and Ukrmetrteststandart on measurement equipment supply verification.

Reception-issuing sector receives letters of indent for contracts execution.

It is necessary to have a warranty letter for verification carrying out. Warranty letter examples are given in Appendix 3 (the examples for legal persons are given in Appendix 3.1; for natural persons in Appendix 3.2)

Reception-issuing sector performs letters of indent and measurement equipment supply for verification receiving and also issuing measurement equipment supply after verification.

Reception-issuing sector receives measurement equipment supply for repairing and issuing after maintenance operation. Warranty letter examples for repairing carrying out are given in Appendix 4.
